Full code ownership at handoff
Every PunkSolid client receives full access to finished code—maintain it in Cursor, hand it to another developer, or stay independent if we part ways.
ServiceWebsites, apps, and software built with AI—you own the code.
Short answer
PunkSolid offers optional 1:1 Cursor coaching for non-technical site owners and for developers—customized to whatever each client needs after a build or migration. There is no fixed session length, curriculum, or price on this page; we learn your goals on the contact form and shape coaching around your repository and workflow.
Cursor coaching is how PunkSolid helps clients keep shipping after we hand over the full codebase. Every PunkSolid build and migration ends with repository access; coaching is the optional bridge when your team wants guided practice in Cursor rather than another full engagement.
Two audiences show up most often. Non-technical owners and marketers need confidence editing hero copy, swapping images, or running an import without breaking tracking or layout. Developers want a faster on-ramp to the repo’s conventions—where content lives, how redirects are tested, and which automated checks run before merge.
Coaching is not a replacement for discovery on a new build. When you need net-new templates, migrations, or integrations, start on website development, website migration, or the service that matches your roadmap. Coaching sits beside delivery—or after it—when the code is already yours.
Owner policy is explicit: 1:1 Cursor coaching is customized to whatever each client needs. That means we do not publish a fixed session length, a bundled “Cursor 101” syllabus, or a price list on this page. Some clients want a single working session to publish a seasonal landing page; others want a short series while onboarding two editors.
Examples we phrase carefully from approved facts only—for instance, learning to update your own site after handoff when you received a PunkSolid repository with structured content fields and deploy notes. Another example is walking a developer through the same Cursor rules patterns we use on large content sites so agents stay inside your guardrails. We shape examples after we read your contact message, not from a generic menu.
The primary call to action is the contact form. Tell us:
We reply from [email protected] with clarifying questions. There is no checkout flow and no implied hourly rate on this page; scope and format are agreed in writing after we understand your goals.
Topics follow your repository, not a textbook chapter list. Common threads include:
We reference code ownership when stakeholders need a shared vocabulary for what you already received at handoff: source access, deploy path, and independence from a proprietary CMS.
On large healthcare WordPress rebuilds and similar programs, clients received full access to finished code and could maintain sites in Cursor or hand them to another developer. Coaching is the optional layer when they want guided practice on bulk imports, structured fields, or publish workflows inside that codebase.
If you are mid-migration, coaching rarely replaces URL inventory work, redirect sign-off, or tracking parity. Those belong on website migration until launch. Post-launch coaching fits editorial teams learning the new import path that replaced WP All Import inside the repository.
We do not sell certification, resell Cursor licenses, or claim affiliation with Anysphere. Cursor is a trademark of Anysphere, Inc.; PunkSolid is an independent company. Coaching does not include unlimited production support: urgent defects and new features still scope as engineering work.
We also do not invent client stories, outcomes, or prices in coaching copy. If a fact is not in our approved launch materials, we do not state it.
Teams sometimes combine coaching with AI code review when agent-generated code needs a structured pass before editors take over. Vibe code to production rescues prototypes first; coaching helps your developers keep the hardened repo healthy afterward.
Read services for the full Own and train pillar alongside code ownership. When your goals are clear, contact us and describe what you want to learn in Cursor.
When you want them, we can leave written recaps of shortcuts, commands, and folder conventions you practiced—always tied to your repository, not a generic handout. Recordings are optional and only when your policies allow. We do not require a minimum number of sessions; some engagements end after one focused hour, others span a few weeks while a team onboards.
Coaching should reduce dependency, not create it. You keep the repo, deploy keys, and editorial workflow whether or not you book another session. If you stop working with PunkSolid entirely, nothing about code access changes—the ownership story lives on code ownership. Future coaching is always optional and still customized per project.
Submit the contact form with your project type, optional site URL, and what you want to accomplish in Cursor—for example updating pages after handoff, running checks before merge, or onboarding a new hire on your repo.
We ask about your stack, deploy path, who edits copy versus code, and any compliance rules that affect publishing. Coaching plans reference your real folders, rules files, and scripts—not a generic slideshow.
Topics might include safe content edits, branching and pull requests, using agent tools without bypassing review gates, or debugging import jobs. Pace and depth follow what you need; we do not force a one-size curriculum.
The aim is confidence on the next change without opening a ticket for every copy tweak. When you want deeper delivery work, we scope builds and migrations on their own service pages.
Non-technical owners who need to update their own site after handoff, marketing leads who publish in git-based workflows, and developers who want help working inside a PunkSolid-delivered repository or their own Cursor setup. We tune depth to the person in the room.
No. Coaching is customized to whatever each client needs. We do not list fixed session lengths, curricula, or prices here. After the contact form we ask about your project and goals and propose a shape that fits.
Most coaching follows a PunkSolid handoff where you already have the full repository, but we can coach on other Cursor projects when scope is clear. Builds and migrations are scoped separately on [website development](/services/website-development/) and related services.
Use the [contact](/contact/) form with your message describing what you want to learn—for example, learning to update your own site after handoff. We reply from [email protected] with questions before scheduling.
